It did not begin with a gavel. It began with a vision of young minds forging alliances, of voices rising above the noise, of diplomacy not as ceremony, but as conviction. This was the first hour. And it changed everything.

Edition I Recap

A Remarkable Beginning

“Voices. Ideas. Impact.”

The First Hour Conference of ANTRAAL MUN was conducted online on 30–31 August 2025, marking a confident beginning to what aims to be a growing platform for young diplomacy.

With over 150 delegates participating, the conference brought together students from across the country and beyond onto a single virtual stage—one where ideas were challenged, perspectives were broadened, and voices were heard.

Guided by 15+ mentors, the sessions reflected both structure and depth, creating space for meaningful discussion rather than surface-level debate. The inaugural edition featured three committees—one national committee and two United Nations committees—each designed to push delegates toward critical thinking, negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving.

Beyond the conference itself, ANTRAAL MUN built a strong digital footprint, reaching over 2.5 lakh monthly views within just 28 days and crossing a total of 10 lakh views overall—an indicator of both reach and relevance.

In recognition of its performance, Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan was awarded the “Best School Delegation” Award. Their delegation stood out for its clarity of thought, depth of research, and consistent engagement across committees—setting a standard that future participants will have to match, not just admire.

As a first-time delegate, Antraal MUN delivered everything my overly optimistic self could have hoped for. From the Executive Board to the Secretariat, everyone was respectful and encouraging. What truly stood out to me was the crisis—it pushed every delegate to their limits and brought out the best in committee. Overall, it was an experience I will always remember for sparking a genuine interest in diplomacy.

DelegateEdition 01

As a delegate, Antraal MUN has been one of the best conference experiences I've had. The Executive Board and Secretariat were exceptionally supportive and well-organized, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The socials were genuinely fun, and I never expected an online conference to be executed this seamlessly. It was a truly memorable and enriching experience.

DelegateEdition 01

As someone who attends more conferences than school, Antraal MUN still managed to exceed my expectations—especially for an online, inaugural edition. From the GSLs to the chits, every moment felt purposeful and engaging, with delegates driving intense discussions and the Secretariat maintaining a highly realistic environment. What stood out most was how well they preserved the essence of diplomacy, even in a virtual setting. Realistically speaking, apart from minor technical hiccups, there was little that fell short of expectations.

DelegateEdition 01

What distinguishes ANTRAAL from other MUNs is its emphasis on conviction. From the very outset, it has aimed to create a space where delegates are not merely evaluated, but genuinely heard, challenged, and supported. Being a part of the First Hour's inaugural offline edition is an honour I deeply value—an experience I will carry with me for years to come.

“The measure of a great conference is not what happens within its halls — but what happens in the world long afterward.”
